About Us

          Sta. Cruz Elementary School is a learning center at the foot of the mountain of the City of Antipolo.  It is strategically located at National Road Olalia Drive, Brgy. Sta. Cruz which is about 500 m. away from Cogeo Wet and Dry Market, and accordingly has a total land area of 21,700 sq.m.  Sta. Cruz Elementary School was formerly known as Bagong Nayon III Elementary School.  It was renamed through the perseverance of former principal Dr. Ricardo I. De Guzman, approved by the City Council headed by Hon. Angelito C. Gatlabayan, City Mayor of Antipolo City last December 19, 2000.  And was first used last School Year 2001-2002.  Sta. Cruz Elementary School is the 3rd biggest school in the Division of Antipolo City.

          Sta. Cruz Elementary School has 183 classes.  Kinder has 12 sections, Grade I has 34 sections, Grade II has 29 sections, Grade III has 30 sections, Grade IV has 28 sections, Grade V has 25 sections and Grade VI has 25 sections.  It has Officers-In-Charge for each in the morning and afternoon sessions. Each Grade level has its own grade chairman to serve as leaders in all undertakings and activities of the school. It has coordinators in every subject areas, 2 ICT coordinators and 1 Liason Officer with 1 clerk and 9 non-teaching personnels hand in hand helping each other accordingly prepares the reports and forms needed by the office for submission to the Division.

          With the free education program launched by the City Government, it is further expected that there would be an immense augment of pupils in the coming years, thus further requiring more classrooms and teachers.  All said, the institutions remains dynamic and competitive as the same is ran by industrious professionals composing the entire faculty under the responsive leadership of its principal, Dr. Susana P. Abiog.
